A Sexy Tribute to the Black Cowboy through the Sounds of Hip Hop:  "Ride 'Em"

Portsmouth, VA:  Have you ever seen a Black Man on a horse?  Did you even know Black Cowboys ever existed?  Well, Lady J's Kingdom of Music is paying a sexy tribute to these African American males in the song . . . "Ride 'Em" a song that is hip hop, country and a taste of pop . . . because thousands of black cowboys rode the prairies driving cattle along the Gulf below Houston, TX from the Guadalupe River east towards Louisiana.

The story of the black cowboy began in Africa where natives possessed great skills in the handling and in the movement of large cattle herds.  For black cowboys in the United States, work was extremely hard and lonely; but they were paid the same as their white counterparts and held every job available except trail boss.  They escaped the lynchings and other evils of the south, enjoying instead greater opportunities for a dignified life on the dusty cattle trails.

One of the most infamous black cowboys in rodeo was Bill Pickett who became the first black cowboy movie star. He rode his horse named Spradley, which incidentally is uncanningly close to the last name of the CEO of Lady J's Kingdom of Music . . . Lady J and producer Jt Spratley.
